I’m Clay Sexton, the founder of Big Top Web Development.

My background is broad by design — IT, web development, design, and software engineering. I’ve spent my career learning how the pieces of a business’s technology actually fit together, not just how to make a page look good. That range is what a small business needs most: someone who can build the site, make sure it performs, and understand the systems around it, instead of handing you a template and disappearing.

I’m a recent transplant to Salisbury, and honestly, the city won me over fast. There’s a realness here — a downtown that still feels like a downtown, business owners who know their customers by name, a community that shows up for its own. I started Big Top because I wanted to put my skills to work for the kind of people who make a town like this what it is: the local shop owners, the tradespeople, the small teams doing good work without a marketing department behind them.

I started this business to help people in my community get found, get chosen, and get paid — with a website that actually earns its keep.
